There is a real problem, the official TSB is somewhere in here, its a problem with the downhill surging. Some dealers will make you prove, it, others will just reflash. It seems random when there really is a problem based on the car..
BTW...better edit Infiniti before mass ownage occurs...

I've heard the ITB07-045 reflash supersedes the ITB07-028a reflash, so you might try only bringing in ITB07-045.
ITB07-028a - 2007 G35; CRUISE CONTROL SYMPTOMS WHEN TRAVELING DOWNHILL
ITB07-045 - 2007 G35 SEDAN; COLD ENGINE START ISSUES
Download both here (too large for the forum).
All TSB's can be viewed here.

I had my car reflashed to rev C for the ITB07-045 TSB yesterday. My dealer told me that I already had rev B software, which I find strange because my car had the super-aggressive tip-in.
Now the acceleration is MUCH smoother. Ir drives like a normal car, without that "on/off" feeling when accelerating from standstill. HUGE improvement.
Highly recommended!

Looks like everyone agrees that TSB 45 has made throttle tip in less aggressive, but I can't help wondering if the performance curve was changed/sacrificed at all. It's too hard for me to tell by feel (a good sign), but it would sure be reassuring to see pre/post TSB dyno results from the same car, same conditions. Has anyone come across any?

From motortrend.com
I loved the car from when it 1st came out but would not buy an 07 based on the overly sensitive throttle. Once I read it was corrected in the 08's I went in and test drove the 08 and it is much better and now I have one . I wanted a luxury car with great performance not a race car with a luxury look.

"The Infiniti execs I spoke with atPebble say that, based partly on our criticisms, they've cured this shortcoming with a newly programmed ECU for 2008models." We're looking forward to trying the fresh electronics, which should eliminate, as St. Antoine says, "the head-jerk you get when pulling away from a stop."
