Reflash ECU for the 07 G35s AT

To me, it is a bunch of BS that we even HAVE to argue with them to do these stupid TSB's. I'm new to this whole Infiniti thing, and so far am extremely unimpressed with the whole Nissan team. I came from BMW, granted my car was in the shop a bit more than my Acura or Honda, or my Ford for that matter. But whenever it was, I got a GREAT loaner, not a base model G, and the SA's were top notch, treated me like a VP. Infiniti wants to argue about EVERYTHING! I can't wait for my lease to end, and I just got the car!

You don't have to change the oil to do the TSB. That is just crap. And synthetic is generally thinner (flows easier) than dino when cold, "thicker" (higher film strength) when hot. I wonder where they get this stuff.
BTW, my dealer did the TSB for me and refilled my car with synthetic (I did it at the same time as my first oil change).

. I'm just glad I don't live near you so you don't put me and my loved ones in danger from your immature actions and driving. Thanks for the info that you were passing school busses in a 911 targa when you were in 12th grade . Those school busses are really fast .
Back on topic.
Oil should make no difference when it comes to doing an update to the ECM.

i tried to get TSB 45 done today. The service rep told me that if they don't experience what the bulletin states they won't do it and that nissan will charge me for the "repair". I told him that the throttle and engine speed is really sketchy when the engine is cold. I have to go in later today to pick the car. I'd be curious to see if they actually flash it.
I really really don't like infiniti service compared to Lexus. If there was a bulletin on my IS 300, all I had to do was say, hey I want this bulletin done and they would do it.
The service guy even went as far as lecturing me about how the TSBs aren't for the car owner to see, but rather for the techs to use to determine how to fix a problem.

Its a shame that Infiniti customers have to do the work of the techs to get there own cars fixed! Maybe if the techs and service writers did there jobs better the customer wouldnt be researching the TSBs.
Hope they fixed it for ya.
