As blnewt stated the driving feel of my G feels more complete since this tsb was done. The car doesn't feel slower at all, but can be described as more linear. The throttle sensitivity is more refined as it should be for a car in this class. Floor it and you still get the jaw dropping performance. Put it in DS mode and have some fun.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to share my experience.

I took my car in to have this TSB applied, however when I went to pick up my car they said that it was previously done- they were confusing it with version "C". I told them to research further and they pulled my car back in and reprogrammed it to version "D". It made a huge improvement in acceleration....so much smoother and linear. I highly recommend getting this done if you hate that jerky acceleration from 1st to 2nd gear.

I did this TSB a while back and my 2 cents is that it was a big regret. I miss my lurching so much. The linear acceleration is smoother, but the lurching feeling made that car feel fast off the line. I wish I could get my ECU reflash to the older version, but I doubt that's a possibility.

EXACTLY..... right DrGEE.. I just had my 07 G35x back for minor service at the dealer. They applied the ECU "upgrade" per this TSB without asking me. It definetely drives differently.....in fact I think there is a slight rougness to the idle now aaaaahhh.
