If you see a plus 10HP at the wheels (before/after dyno test) from just that intake thats awesome..! Is that the case?

Im surprised hp isnt hurt since its taking in all the hot air from the engine bay.. looks nice though!

I believe there were a couple of tests done at Technosquare who is not affiliated with Injen confirming the performance.

The air is drawn up from just behind and below the front bumper (outside of the engine bay). This is a true cold air intake.

It is listed as G37 one, but they both share the same part number.

I realize this is a brand spanking new thread but I just have one simple question...

How hard is it to access the filter for maintenance once it's installed?

Okay two... is it a wash and re-oil type filter as well?

One, you'll need to lift the car, remove the wheel, and remove the wheel wall liner to get to the filter........ or just remove the bumper. (It's kinda... PITA.)

Two, I believe so. I think they're the same type that K&N uses...

I was told you can do it from the bottom after removing the lower shield ... the same way you do an oil change on an sport.

Byron at Injen also told me the filters are conical and custom made to their specs.

Not very often in Southern CA, but it depends on how dusty the operating environment is. Another comment from Injen is there is actually a slight increase in power when the filters are slightly dirty. I've heard that about other oil impregnated filters as well like K&N.

Great, thanks for the info Terry. I'm guessing I will have to wash them more often than others since I live in Dubai and it can get pretty dusty at times. Any idea on the recommended time frame to clean them in a relatively dusty area?
