Search the forums on g37driver.com again and you will see STOCK injen dyno, and a guy who got so dissappointed with the results he started making excuses, regardless injen is suffering from heatsoak as there is no air coming in from where they are located in the bumper, thus guys cutting into their bumper vents etc to get them some air, one guy got water on his filter so he switched out to avoid any hydrolock.
I am not taking sides but just sheding light on my opinion considering cons and pros of either filter helps JWT be better in MY OPINION as the JWT uses the stock air passage which is in front of the radiator which allows cooler air to come in without heatsoak, and no risk of hydrolock, easier install and good sound thats my reasoning for liking JWT better.
Thats my OPINON and ADVICE and hope we dont start a theard like in myg37 where ppl started bashing each other over results.... so all cool here.

seriously, I think whatever cai power gains there are, are minimal. Go with which setup you like best, and I agree, no need to bash anyone elses choice (and I'm on the jwt gp buy). Have fun with whatever you choose, thats the best advice.

On g37driver.com you will see STOCK injen dyno with 5.5whp
, and a guy who got so dissappointed with the results he started making excuses, regardless injen is suffering from heatsoak as there is no air coming in from where they are located in the bumper, thus guys cutting into their bumper vents etc to get them some air, one guy got water on his filter so he switched out to avoid any hydrolock.

EDIT: Link to STOCK injen Dyno 6whp I am just upset with injen about lying about the results and then making ppl spend over $500 to get 6whp on STOCK while claiming 14whp, u should atleast get 10... oh injen why???

1. New to the internet
or
2. New to bolt on mods.
Pretty much, every manufacturer EVER of ANY bolt on mod does the same exact crap as Injen when they advertise HP gains on the internet.
Just expect to get about 1/2 the HP they advertise and you won't be disappointed.
I'm not saying you don't have a right to be mad, just that everyone else does it. So, (like me) be mad at them all. It's marketing crap. At least they aren't as bad as the ***** pills. $1 billion worth of suckers there.

, anyways my comparison is with JWT which claims 6.5-10WHP and delivers thats it, established companies need to respect the recognition they get like some do.

just speaking of one dyno I saw, not saying it's everyone out there, but the one showed like a near 10hp gain when swapped back out with stock. this was during a tuning process at Technosquare.
here's the original post of that thread:

As many of you already know TS decided to use my car as a test vehicle for the 07 G35S 5AT Reflash. The reason being I'm close to there facility.
Here's the time-line of what actually occured.
March 24 - Dropped off my ECU @ TS to ship to Japan
April 1 - TS notified that my ECU was back from Japan
April 2 - Picked up ECU and scheduled appointment for reflash and tuning
On Tuesday April 8th I brought my car in for tuning. At the time of the tuning my car consisted of the following mods:
Fujita Intake
Berk Technology HFC's
Stillen Exhaust
The reflash consisted of Increasing Rev Limiter to 8k, Elimination of Speed Limiter and Adjustment to 1) Ignition Timing Map, 2) A/F Map and 3) Drive By Wire
Below is the dyno results:

Proto2 Blue - base line
Proto6 Red - reflash
Proto13 Black - replacing Fujita intake with factory intake
As you can see just by removing the $h!tty Fujita intake there was ~10hp gain. For the mostpart I am very satisfied with the results. The only issue is there appears to be slight hesitation whenever the car is under load and below 3k RPMS. TS thinks its not related to the reflash but has to do with the unit that controls the torque converter.

^ Unfortunatley that is quite true... i remember this guy on the coupe forums who asked "what are clear corners and how much hp do they add?
" and someone has that quote as their signature....
