I can do exactly what they are doing for 6k or less. I would never pay 16k.

There is alot more going into this build than you think. The ECU's on the second generation sedans are alot tricker than the first generation sedans...this is not a simple plug and play. Props to Terry for being the trail blazer on this mod.

I pay 16k all day if I wanted to go with this turbo, I know theres alooooot included in there from many add on parts to labor and tuning, not just the turbo kits etc. But then again, its because I can afford it

Or you're swinging from GTM's nuts according to your avatar and signature

Either way, I'm looking forward to dyno, track, and street vid's of the setup.

Terry......whats going to happen with the ICC sensor? If they relocate it to another part of the bumper doesn't that mean they would have to recalibrate it or something to that effect? Thats one thing us tech guys are going to run into when putting a front mount on.

That is what is hanging up the project right now (I have the sensor).

Looking at this picture (w/G37 intercooler installed), the ICC sensor bolts right behind the lower blue coupler.

As a matter of fact, you can see the left mounting hole for the ICC sensor below the left edge of the blue coupler.

There are two choices that I know GTM is investigating 1) Use the existing intercooler for BOTH G35 and G37 by relocating the ICC sensor to the opening on the driver's side or 2) Relocate the intercooler by raising it up for the sedan.

Option 1) would mean the bumper openings would need to get cut out and a custom braket would need to be added to their kit, BUT the the intercooler should be less expensive because it would be the same for 2 vehicle platforms.

Option 2) the intercooler would be more expensive since it would be special to the sedan, but no need to modify the bumper or create a bracket.

In moving the sensor - as far as I know, it is essentially a laser range finder so there shouldn't ba a calibration issue ... the aimpoint would be more critical.

I hope they've decided which way makes more sense by now.
