just get a drop in k&n filter and z tube to start off. the oil cleaner (recharg kit) is only 10 bucks. you would only need to clean the filter 1-2 times a year. the filters work better as they get dirty.

You do realize you are in the 07+ section right? HR has two TB, no Z tube option.

they make a plenum spacer for the 07-08 sedans? do u have a link? ive been looking and everythign i see is to 06.

as for filters apex supposedly makes the best dry filters out there now

Just Remember if you Change More than the Filters and You are Driving a Car with Less than 36k Miles It will Void Your warranty.

My Cousin Swapped the Filters to an K&N Cold Intake and when he took the car for the 15k Maintenance they give him that great surprise. Your Warranty Its Void Due to Modifications to the Engine.

So Get the Regular K&N Filters they will do good in your car I can tell the difference over the Regular filters.
for the 2008-2010 G35
K&N AIR FILTERIntake Part #:33-2399

After adding K&N filter, I felt longer pulls meaning less restriction of flow in the intake. so I would say they are a great addition to the intake if you are looking for a filter that does the job and it doesn't need to be replaced but just oiled/ cleaned.

I was told that i didn't need to oil the filters. The oil just adds color to the filters.

If you get an aftermarket intake, then it comes with new cleanable filters already so if you're planning on ever getting an aftermarket intake, getting drop in K&N filters is a waste of money IMO.

You must oil the filter after every cleaning. The oil assists in catching all dirt and dust particles. Make sure that the filter is completely dry before running the engine.

Lol the oil is very important for the K&N filters. Thats why they are Oil filters.

If you want a filter you do not need to oil buy a quality paper filter. They filter better then the K&N
