I have 2008 G35xS automatic and 2009 Murano. Just did the first oil change on both of them after 3500miles. Both cars Service engine soon light lit up. I have been changing oil in all of my cars for last 13 years, so I definitely did not miss anything.

Initially I thought that it was a coincidence, but since I changed the oil on the same day and the next day both cars had the light lit ... something is wrong.

Any suggestion or help will be greatly appreciated.

 

as long as there were no leaks and the oil levels are proper and the filter is on correctly, you should have no problem, im guessing you just need to reset the maintain reminder from the console or screen

 

I reset the maintanence reminder right after the oil change on both cars. I even tried turning all four reminders off and the light is still on.
