2nd Gen Clutch pedal fix.

I'm sure most 6MT owners have seen the clutch pedal fix in the main tech section of the forum.
I didn't see anything posted as it relates to the 2nd Gen (if I missed it let me know)

Just did this on my '08 last night.
The 2dn gen setup is a little different from the 1st Gen DIY pics.
The principal function however, is the same.

I'm just on R&D trial spacers for now, ....works great.
It gets rid of all the excess bottom end travel.

I'll be working out a more mechanically sound method soon.
I'll post up the results & pics when I'm done.

I did this as well. I tried to go back to stock and was amazed what a difference the spacers make. The excess travel on the stock clutch is laughable and really makes all of the MT jabs ring true.

Yes there is adjustment, but your statement is not accurate.....

The adjustment for the master cylinder clevis is so that it floats freely at the pin.
There should be no pressure on the pin.
It's NOT for adjusting pedal take up to get rid of the excess bottom end travel.
The adjustment "L" is 133.55 ± 0.5 mm.

The adjustment procedure you posted is for the switch only, which is limited in it's adjustment.

I see what you mean now. The physical stops are located away from the switches and are non-adjustable. My mistake.

No problem; I've never seen a setup quite like these before either.
