Which intake to choose ?

I took off my Fujita intake because people were saying that you actually loose power with it. So which intake out there actually improves our car?

For right now, I don't think there is an aftermarket intake that performs better than stock (weirdly enough). Probably the closest aftermarket intake that gives you decent power is the Injen CAI, but even then you lose some power compared to OEM. There are new Stillen CAI for the G37 coupe that show a lot of promise, but they are not currently sure whether the intakes will be compatible with our sedans.

Weren't the JWT Popchargers showing impressive numbers?

I know the popcharger makes a nice sound (just a little quieter than the injens) so if the numbers are good they're definitely a good option.

Easy to install too.

Injen

i regularly raced my buddy for power comparisons on new mods. he has a lex is350. stock for stock we just shuffled a nose back and forth.

me with rims only, i lost by a car(30-120)

me with rims and fujitas, i lost by 1.5 cars.(30-130)

me with rims and fujitas-him with aem intake- i lost by 2 cars(30-130)

Me with rims/fujitas/exhaust-him with aem intake-i lost by 1.5 cars(30-125)

me without rims and with fujitas/exhaust - i lost by 1 car. (30-100)

me back to stock intakes, rims/exhaust still on- him aem intake-i lost by a car but with differences of when the car fell back when related to the rpms(30-120)

me with rims, exhaust, and injens-him with aem intake and staggered 20's- shuffled back and forth a nose..............that was in the first weekend. since then the ecu has adjusted and i get my rear bumper to his nose(so theoritically an exhaust would get us even again)

now he is back on stock rims with aem intake. I am running the rims-intake-exhaust- he gets the jump and i start at his rear bumper and pull my rear to his front(30-130)

in summary of multiple real world comparisons between 2 cars-injen FTMW!
