Probably a custom true dual exhast with headers.

If you're talking catback, each company will CLAIM different HP gains. In reality, they're all going to be pretty much the same. Just like with an intake or tune, there's only so much power the engine is capable of "uncorking."

So for exhaust, go with the one that sounds the best in your opinion and fits your budget.

If you really want to go fast, save up for a turbo kit. You can spend thousands on bolts ons for this car.... and barely be any faster (maybe 1/2 a second in the 1/4 mile).

Borla(H-Pipe) "claims" the most at 18whp some G37 folks pulled 14whp on personal dynos and FI(X-Pipe) claims and has personal dyno's proving about 11whp(corrrect me if im wrong).

I think it's tough saving up for a turbo kit though...not only that, but reliability goes out the window...just spend your money on the bolt-ons, they'll give you what you need...if you really need to go faster, the better idea is to save for a new car! i think its pointless to save for a turbo kit, once you put that bad boy on the car it's not going to make your car worth that much more...there is a market for highly-modified cars...a very SMALL market...if going fast is your main concern, you purchased the wrong car...the g35 signifies BALANCE

Anything that eliminates the stock y pipe for either a H or X pipe will yield the most results. When i replaced my y pipe with an H pipe, i noticed an immediate increase in performance that was definitely felt and not just a placebo effect from the extra noise. This is with everything else being stock except for magnaflow mufflers.
