The G37's AP worked on a 07+ G35??? If they are trying this software randomly why not try the 2007-2008 350Z HR Access Port??? At least the Z's is the same engine.

How will the factory ECM updates be affected (if any)? What if their test cars weren't up to date?

quick update of the access port.
went to get a dyno for my G today ended up finding out the shop is a cobb tuner/dealer.

talked to him if he can do anything got the G sedan since theres a accessport out for the HR engines for the 350z. he got on the phone with the cobb techs in utah the researched bla bla. long story short he told me that its in pre production they have one that would work and the shop would do a custom tune for me with all the mods that i have.
i ordered it... a few hours later i get a call from the shop with bad news the accessport from the 350z will NOT work on the g sedans. it will have gains with a base map and all that, but it is not stable the access port itself for the infiniti will be completly different than the nissan one.

he said cobb said if i use it it will be at my own risk. and then the shop said that he will not tune that. becasue there is way too much risk with that. cobb said wait until january for a release date. just to let you guys know.

I would think the G37 AP would be the best bet to work.

I love the idea of the AccessPort, but the Cobb guys can't hit a launch date to save their lives. They said "next quarter" almost 18 months ago

And they said the 07+ G35/G37 AP would be out soon, then the G37 came out with no discussion of the sedans... no date extension, no we're sorry it's taking longer than we thought, just like it never existed.
