Hissing sound after HFCs

Hey guys, just installed my HFCs,

To all of your out there with HFCs do you have a weird Hissing sound or something? especially if you let the revs drop to around 2k from like 3k.

Some people with G37s have it but no one seems to be able to say where it is from exactly and how to get rid of it.

here is the thread from myg37

http://myg37.com/forums/intake-and-e...magnaflow.html

Thanks!

Hey! Csquared. how's going with your HFC. Any CEL?
BTW i know what you meant. The shaking is from under carbin..right in the middle of Y pipe. It's sound like the heatshield is shaking when idle drop about 1500-2000RPM. It will go away if you increased the Mid-Pipe or installed the H-Pipe.Don't worry!! you will get use to it!!! Trust me!!
Now have you reset the ECU by disconnect the negative battery. If you've done so!! Try to run hard!!!! Have your ECU learning your driving.Change your intake to K&N Drop in!!!! You'll see!!!

I really want to get rid of it, so change mid pipe? I read your thread about how much getting just an H pipe would suck.

I have fujita intakes with K&N filters. I love the power!!!!! BUT I HATE THE HISSSS!

The sound is there when i go wot as well but you dont really hear it because of the exhaust sound hahaha.

These HFC's seem like more trouble than they're worth lately.
I despise noises coming from my car.... that would drive me absolutely nuts.

Damn rasp hahaha, you think resonated X pipe would get rid of it? Seems like the people with HFCs and the FI exhaust don't have this sound.

I have heard it on the 350zs(HR motors) and ours and it seems like it a common problem

I think a full exhaust would solve it. I honestly dont like the sound of hfcs + stock exhaust. Some do, but too me its TOO much rasp
