does the AEM By Pass valve fit the Injen? What is the diameter of the piping? The BPV can fit from 2.5 to 3". This will give a more secure peace of mind on running thru puddle.

Is it necessary to remove the front bumper to install the CAI?

I believe so since you have to remove the window washer resevoir to mount the filter

Haha, it is possible to install this intake withou removing the bumper! Since I installed mine throgh the fender. Just gotta take out the fender liners! Installing the new washer resovoir was a little more hard. Just gotta manuver the hands more to get to the bolts! It can be done but it would be easier to remove the bumper. But have more risk of scratching the bumper if u drop it or whatever may happen! There's a few DIY with pics of installing this intake through the fender on myG37.com

Sounds like the old king (ie. Injen CAI) is still the reigning king! Now I want to sell my Stillen Gen3! j/k.

Interesting discussion in that link over at myG37 re: individual mods posting large gains but add two of those together (ie. intake/exhaust) and the gains are almost the same as that individually. I knew it wasn't additive but almost being the same as each alone?

Pretty impressive gain.

I was looking at the Injen site where they posted their own dyno sheet of this intake and it looks like the increase in air volume leaned out the A/F Ratios a good amount.

From their site:

You can see the stock A/F Ratio is at 11.40 and with the Intake its at 12.84. This would pretty happen with any intake that introduces more air. 11.4 does seem a little rich for a N/A car so the leaning of the A/Fs couldn't hurt in this case, it made a good amount of WHP which is very difficult to achieve on a N/A car.

I may look into picking up a set of these but dang, $500 for an intake is a hard pill to swallow. Then again thats easily 15+ WHP for $500, can't argue about that....
