Clutch acting differently sometimes

I actually have 2 issues with my clutch....might be related. I have an 08 G35S 6MT with 5k miles.

My clutch will make creaking noises, and has almost from the beginning. Sounds like it needs a lube and I have read lots of posts on how to fix the issue and seems very different depending on the post. The weird thing is that when it creaks, it feels like the clutch engagement point changes or maybe just a little looser. Could just be a mind game, but it really does. I live in the Dallas area and out weather lately has been either really cold or 60-80. It seems like the clutch behaves differently in the different weather. IN the morning it my fine, then afternoon feels different. The creak seems to not be there depending on the weather also. Sometimes it feels spot on and I have no issues. Other times is seems very loose when I start out and I it feels like when I shift I don't know how to drive...yes I can drive an MT. It is a complete guessing game sometimes.

I would bring it the dealer, but it is so inconsistent, plus you have to drive it for a bit to have a reference point on how it behaves and the creak comes and goes.

Am I just imagining things or is common???

Can you feel the squeak in the pedal as well as hear it? I had to put up with it forever until it did it continuously enough for the dealer to hear it. They ended up replacing the clutch pedal assembly (I think that's what it was). I hear it once since then, but has stayed quiet since (about 8 or 9 months now). **I know with mine, I could just tap the clutch (not to the point of actual engagement just the "play in the pedal") and it would start doing it eventually. You might want to take it to them anyways, I am pretty sure they have done one or two.
As to the engagement, might just be our wonderfully sensitive clutches

GOOD LUCK!!!

What you described is exactly what I have. I can feel the creak as well and also can reproduce in the space before it engages. Like I said, I may just be conjuring up the clutch sensitivity thing.

Thanks. I will bring to the dealer when I get some time soon.

Where did you lube. What was the final resolution for others with this creaking issue? I'm having the same problem. Thanks
