Why would you need one with a Gen3 when the filter is directly behind the grill?

I would be happy to send you an updated Z4 scoop if you still have the car. And, I will personally walk you through the install over the phone. ......
Like I said.... great company to work with.
the V2 sounds like a nice improvement.
..Thanks but I no longer have the car.

No i don't think it would help because the filters for the intake on the stillen is right behind the grill already.

If this works out to be any decent w/ some positive gains. I might go with this plus the HKS drop-in filters.

If that's the case, I will have a brand new Gen 3 for sale.

They are designed to be used with the stock intake in place. We like using stock panel filters because you can force air through it. You cant force air into a 360 degree cone filter. With an induction filter, you are limited to what the engine can suck in period.

Correct. We dont want any cars coming here with hot air intakes. Justin is supposed to drop his car off here and we want to do some prototypes with dyno sessions. Once we have a set up that makes power on his car, we would need a few more cars to dyno to confirm the results. If you guys are interested and have a stock intake car, we would like to line you guys up so that once we are done with the prototyping, there wont be any delays trying to get people in here. If you guys want, we can do a dyno day also.

If its similar to the other ones I have seen, its still a hot air intake. And NO, more air doesnt always mean more power.

We are doing the best we can. The problem that Im running into is that we have a full house here right now. The other is pricing. The prototype for the G37 that I made will cost more than our M5 systems.
