FI or Stillen?

So I'm ready to place my order on an exhaust, just wanted to know what you guys think is a better exhaust for what I want.
I'm looking for a deep and aggressive exhaust that is also loud, but not too loud (no test pipes, HFC, or muffler delete).
I just want something that's different from stock. Something that I can notice and will disturb people when going WOT lol but not too loud when cruising.

I've heard good things about the FI exhaust, good power gains and sound but just wanted to double check with the guys who've heard both. (Love the double walled tips on the Stillen but the guys at FI said they could change the tips out so it's not a problem)

Thanks.

P.S. any news on the FI CF catback? The setup on d_cecc629's car sounded perfect, but I haven't heard anything about it. (I'd get it without the CF though)

I have the FI exhaust and love it. It's not to loud, but not too soft. At WOT it sounds great and at cruising it's a little louder than stock and no drone!

Well if you want to go cheaper, you can take a look at the Tanabe's although its just an Axel back sounds really nice, and no drone on highway or anything.

Thanks Clement, looking for a cat-back though. I know for a fact that an axle-back won't be loud enough for me and over here a cat-back doesn't affect warranty at all while HFC's would.

I need to find out if the FI CF exhaust is coming out anytime soon or not.

BTW, looks like I'll be going for FI but I'll probably get Tony to change the tips for 4" double walled tips like on the Stillen.
I think it looks better since the current FI tips look too much like stock.
What do you guys think?

My tips don't look stock at all.
I think the Sebring tips look better than the stillens, IMHO.

They seem pretty stock looking in pics. Just bigger and rounder.
I don't know, I'm pretty confused about the tips since I've heard the Sebrings are really nice but in pics they look similar to stock.
Got a good pic of the tips old timer, I mean, Aeson? lol j/k

The FI CF catback is already out, a member here has it on their car. I'm getting up there in age, not as old as AV.

Lol thanks for the pic man, no one's up there with AV yet. hahaha

I PMed Tony at FI a while back and asked him about the CF catback. I'll be waiting for his response on it.

WEll I think you should get FI for 1 reason, it's a true dual with a X pipe, while stillen is still just a y pipe business.

I put on my Stillen yesterday, so obviously I'd be biased towards it

I decided on Stillen since it ended up being a couple hundred cheaper and uses true Stillen parts. FI just uses other parts to build their system I've heard - although this most likely has no effect on anything.

They currently offer free shipping and its on sale for 1060. It shipped to me (houston) in less than a week.

But I have completely loved the exhaust thus far. I'm yet to turn on my radio since I left the dealership yesterday. It sounds great

Thanks for the info popcornten, free shipping wouldn't be an option for me anyways since I'm in Dubai. (unless I were to get lucky lol)

I've heard the Stillen is quite good also but a friend of mine (Wes) said it has some highway drone. From what I'm told, the Stillen and the FI sound pretty much the same except for the drone.

Also the newer FI setup is a little louder and more aggressive than both the previous setup and the Stillen so I'll probably be going for that.

The fact that the FI is a true dual exhaust is great since my service guy at the dealership says the stock exhaust with the Y pipe restricts the exhaust and hurts performance (although minimal). It's good to know that the FI increases HP and TQ to some extent whereas the Stillen, as Clement said, is basically the same Y pipe setup as stock.

Hopefully Tony gets back to me on the new catback and gives me a reasonable quote without the CF on the muffler since it would be pointless and I'll be placing my order ASAP.

So what are your opinions guys, 4" double walled rolled tips like the Stillen or the 4" Sebring tips that come with the FI exhaust?
