Has anyone tried the 1.23b? I got this from BD yesterday and when I tried to upload into the ecu it prompts me to call BD...???

You will start to notice it after a while, you should also see a gas mileage increase as well. ECU has to sort of get used to the tune.

All right after a lot of thinking i too am CONSIDERING of "tuning" my car and this seems to be the most viable option for the price, so anyone about to get any dynos or 1/4 or such? Also any confirmation whether the BD caused any of the problems that a few ppl had with their cars?

Just did the tune, nothing noticeable yet. However, I am hopeful. I'm going to use my iphone dyno after a few weeks of driving to see if there is any change from my baseline results with the iphone.

Oh, by the way, I required version 1.23b if anyone needs it.

Question about returning back to stock

Hi. I'm trying to return the ECU back to stock. Bully dog has been running for nearly 45 minutes now... and its been stuck on 0% @ the downloading screen.

Anyone else have this ? or am I just not patient enough?

Installing didnt take this long...

UPDATE: after about 1.5hrs stuck on 0% i unplugged it from the car. started the car to check if everything was ok and turned off the engine. plugged BD PP back in and it seems everything is running fine and the tune is still there. Guess i'll try again tomorrow.

That has happened to me before. just back it up to the factory tune and then reinstall the BD tune to make sure.

I think he's still on factory tune.
The DL didn't go through. "stuck at 0%"

...probably doesn't have a good file yet.

I'm still in the holding pattern as well.
Talked to tech yesterday & they're still working on it.
I'm not too concerned though, I still want to arrange a base line pull before I install it.
.....just haven't had the time.

I already did the premium tune and I was trying to return the car to stock last night. (Need to install paddle shifters). But it got stuck on 0% @ the download stage while trying to return to stock. According to PP, I still have all the tuned settings on my car in the "view settings" screen. However, the car is different today from yesterday.

Ex: My idle rpm at startup previous to this incident was above 2100rpm. But this morning, my idle rpm at startup was no more than 1800rpm. The throttle feels a little different too. not sure. I'm hoping PP didnt return my car to stock but still keep my engine code on the PP unit.

I'm going to try and "return to stock" again tonight.

Keep us updated. Just an update on my vehicle...... no problems to report.... I put at least 30+ miles a day on my vehicle and haven't had any problems. Had my fluids checked and oil change changed. I'm still rocking out 1.22b (need to update eventually). I did take the +2 timing off because I'm trying to get a dyno run scheduled with my local shop. (Will do a +2 timing and a neutral timing).

Tried again tonight. When it got to 0% downloading stage, the engine fan kicked on and it started to run immdiately. So no problems. was able to return to stock.

so I've driven about 150 miles on my BD tune and have felt nothing. I've compared my 0-60 time before and after using my dynolicous and have the same results. Do you think its too early to see results? Maybe I need more miles for the ecu to adjust? Any thoughts?

Did you Bump the Timing? seems like that would have the most effect for performance. i gained 1-2 MPG
