I agree that the dry filters are a better option, but I love the roar that the Injen long tube offers.
Why can't I have both, damn it!?!

wait, the Injen CAI (long tubes) comes with oiled filters??!

generally speaking yes, although, I kinda recall reading somewhere on the G37 forum that you can get the long tubes with non oiled filters. But I think thats a new thing.. if I recall correct.

Well, you do have two throttle bodies. In goes one long and one short...

long on the drivers side and short on the passenger to keep the washer reservoir?

what is involved with the maintenance of these non oiled filters? Also, whats the life expectancy?

Cleaning
EaA filters should be cleaned every year or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first. Carefully remove the filter from the housing. Clean the housing with a shop towel, being careful not to knock contaminants into the air inlet. Filters can be cleaned by carefully vacuuming the filter media on the dirty side, or by holding the filter with one hand and carefully blowing the filter media at a 45 degree angle on the clean side using low-pressure shop air (15-20 lbs. psi).

Service Life
AMSOIL Ea Air Filters are guaranteed for four years or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first. The guarantee applies only if the filter has been serviced according to AMSOIL recommendations. In off-road, frequently dusty or other severe duty applications, clean and change more often as determined by operating conditions or as indicated by restriction gauge.

Sure, i can do that. I already have the before video's. The thing is so darned loud i didn't want to disturb the neighbors, so there's this spot i usually go to but can only do so early in the morning on the weekends. Will try for this weekend

Alright guys... what do I do?
This, or the Injen long pipes?

I'm looking for a great sound, and I'm hoping for slight gains, or at least no losses.
