2nd to 3rd shift....

not sure if its just me or its a slight intermittent issue that occurs every once in a while so far its happened like 3 times.

I shift from 2nd to 3rd gear i know i hit the paddle or the shifter to manually **** to third but it stays in 2nd. then it wont ever do it again anymore....maybe im not pushing it all the way down to shift?

It can miss depending on RPM and engine load. How was the car being driven at the time? Did you try to shift immediately after the 1-2 shift? Please clarify "then it wont ever do it again anymore ..."

i gave it that thought of maybe i did shift too quick but when i do attempt to shift it quick to reduplicate it, it wont happen. im sure its probably not a problem but yea im just wondering that its odd when it does that.

im from an automotive background so i know even if i take it to the dealer, they would tell me if they cant duplicate it then they cant test or verify anything

what i think is happening is when i shift into 2nd gear i am shifting it into 3rd gear like instantly so its not allowing it to do it. no idea i kinda go it to do it once today and realized thats what it seems like its doing. for example take off in first RPMS go up.....then shift to 2nd....as the drop is dropping down im tapping the shifting too fast into third so its technically still just barely shifting into second. thats my theory.

How does it do in DS mode? If it is not missing, the solenoids are fine. The only possibility is the shifter or the guy doing the shifting.

I learned the hard way ... imagine missing a manual shift on boost and seeing your RPM bouncing around on the rev limiter! DS mode works more consistently if you really want to get on it.

yea i think so...i guess im stilll used to the fast quick shiftings i used to do in the nitrous powered civic during my days lol maybe now noticing that its just not as fast as i can shift on a real manual

yea shifter problem should be eliminated because it did it with both paddles and shifter. and it drives fine when i pay attention to it and in DS mode.

lol guy doing the shifting lmfao!
