u probably remember me askin about FI exhaust for my G35 sedan 2008 . . so i decided to go for , but unfortunately no reply from Tony so far .

i'm a bit pissed off n decided to go for somthin else . .
Borla catback exhaust
this is the exhaust i'm planning to purchase . .

so my question is . .

which one is better in terms of performance and power , FI or Borla ?

if FI is better . . then i may should wait for Tony's response !

 

Well better fo you to contact Tony Directly! Call the Number at his shop and ask for him! They are usually really busy, and he sometimes does not have time to come on here and answer PM's! so best to call! His Customer Service is second to none, when I dealt with him for buying thier HFC's! As for Borla, they are also good, but a bit more Pricey, and I think they are louder than FI Exhaust systems!?

Try to email him again, or call him.

Why don't you try Invidia Q300 Exhaust system. Looks much better than the FI and brola in my opinion, i dont know about the power gain though on the G35. However the guyz over on Myg37 seem to be happy with it.

Tough to answer unless one has had both exhausts. I don't think even Tony can answer which one is better although I am sure I know his answer. Are you looking for opinions on the sound or which provides more power?

They are going to be about the same. unless you are Turbo or Supercharged your going to get about 9-10hp from either setup. i suggest you focus more on the sound aspect. that is what you will notice more. sound outweighs performance in my mind. i would rather have an exhaust that makes 10hp and sounds bad *** than a exhaust that makes 20hp and sounds terrible.

 

Get the Fast Intentions. Fitment and quality was absolutely fantastic and I felt a signifigant change in my car once I installed it.

People here have not been impressed with the Borla setup.

Give tony a couple of days he will reply back. I PMed him and he replied a couple days later. And the FI exhaust is a really subtle exhaust. It's good on in cabin noise and scream when u really get on it.

 

He's ONLY asking about power though.
From looking at past posts and from vendor claims, the two systems are similar in gains, although Borla claims a few HP more (by few, I mean 2-3)
Considering the hundreds of people who are happy with the FI system and the few who have the Borla system not being impressed... that's your answer.
Get the FI with HFCs.

Tony does not always reply to PM's in a quick manner. He's busy and is not always on this forum.
Email or phone is the best approach.
