Ran into a pretty big problem. Turns out they sent me the G37 Coupe Kit which does NOT fit our sedans. I've been on the phone with their tech support trying to figure out what to do. I sent them pictures via email and their having their techs look over them. It looks like I'll be sending it back for the G35 kit.

Ok, so heres the deal. I had a buddy of mine who used to me a mechanic come over and work on the install with me. After 3 hours of manipulation the intake would not fit unless we altered the factory setup greatly. I called AFE today and talked to Mike, who talked to a bunch of their guys and came to the conclusion they they do not have a proper kit for the 07+ G35 Sedan. I told him that people on this site have successfully installed this kit on their G's, to which he had no answer for me. They will be refunding my money and will have no date for a g35 kit.

Jack, when you installed the intakes did you have to move around a lot of the factory hoses? My Takeda intakes simply could not line up to meet the hoses or the engine coupling. I could have made everything fit if I cut a lot of hoses and moved things around quite a bit.

I'm pretty bummed, I think I might look into the R2C intakes.

Hey Jack, did you remove the breather box or did you leave it in? Also could you post a close up picture of that section? I tried to upload my photos but it kept failing.

Hey CED, I'll get my cellphone camera and take some pictures for you. (I'm at work). I should have noted that the hoses that are attached to the breathers might have came off my k&n kit. I think for about 3 bucks you could make your own. (I'll show you in a picture of what I have). I promise I have the same kit as you and have no problems at all with it fitting. I'll contact Takeda and explain what I have/did perhaps they can just include it since it's about a $1 in parts for g35 owners. (Again I think I used my K&N hoses). I couldn't really tell LOL, btw the breather boxes are all hooked up for me.

That would be great. The guy at AFE (Mike) really had no clue what we could do to make it fit. He asked some of the R&D guys and they informed us that they have indeed put a g37 kit in a g35, but could offer no explanation of how. If I could see what you did, it might do the trick. I really appreciate all your help.

I think I know where your running into problems. The easy solution is just to go buy a about half a foot of rubber hose that's pictured (that connects to the breathers). I bet it's the right side giving your grief. If you have any requests let me know (I had to take my cover off my hood to get some good pics). Again send me a private message if you need specific pictures or if it would help to get my phone #.

Success!!! Thanks to Jack's help and guidance. I went to pep boys today and picked up 3 feet of flexible tubing, went home, removed stock "stiff" tubing and instillation was 100 times easier. I took my time and triple checked every step. Once installed, I drove around to a local industrial park where I can let her loose a little. The first thing I noticed was how quite the intakes are at cruising speed. It sounds completely stock. However, once you get to 3,500 RPM's and higher, a monster is unleashed. I took my wife along for the ride and she couldn't believe how mean it sounded. She now wants to take my car to work tonight For the very short test drive I did, I couldn't be happier. The stress was all worth it. I can't wait to see how this effects my vehicles performance and feel down the road.

I want to put up pictures, but I can't figure out how to resize on a mac. I've always been a PC guy and my wife has always been a mac girl. So, when we moved in together what do you think happened? My PC went to that silicon valley in the sky. If anyone knows how to resize on a mac LMK.

Jack, I sent you an email with a question.
