You should hold off until I can confirm the code with AFE tomorrow. (I'd hate for you to overspend).

thanks. can you find out if they are planning on updating the kit at all(ie. to 100% fit the sedan, redesigned heat shield, etc)? I also need to know if it clears with the GT Spec front strut bar on.

I tried the code a few times and came up with the same problem you did. I called AFE and inquired about the code to which they had no knowledge of. I just ordered it without the discount. Maybe Jack090 can help you out.

Does anyone have any dyno results from this intake? Would it be worthwhile to changeout my Stillen for this one?

dont worry about me. I was able to get it from a site sponsor for $300 shipped. pm me for details.

btw, the THEORY code works now. Shows that 20% ($73.29) was taken off to make it $293.16 + $10.01 for shipping.

The only Dyno's are what AFE did (on mustang dyno). I've never known them to lie but they did claim pretty high HP gains. I don't know if I believe them (or the stock car had clogged up filters) that they managed to get something like 15-25 hp or something like that. I love the sound and I like the fact that I can keep 1 filter until I get tired of it and want to replace it. (I had my last afe roughly 7 years with just using cleaning kits).

Not sure why it didn't work earlier for you. I just tried and it made it appropriate price for me.

Is this intake worth it over a Stillen Gen 3?

*edit* I don't know if it would be worth spending the extra cash since you have an intake already. I don't think you'll see much of a difference in performance gains but the takeda looks good and sounds better than it even looks. It's up to you if you wanna get it, but if your not happy with your Stillen I would give this one a shot.

I'm new to this site, but after reading everyone's thoughts about the Takeda CAI, I ended up ordering it... I had originally been thinking about the K&N but was easily persuaded otherwise after reading Jack's write up.... Thanks Jack. Can't wait to get it... Thanks for the code... I was able to get the 20% off.... which made it cheaper than the K&N. Thanks everyone....
