problem with my 6mt

soooo dealership said i need a new clutch because it is worn out causing it to slip.

took it to another mech. for a second opinion and he said there might be an adjustment on the clutch.

basically heres my problem in any gear if i hit the gas after it has already been in gear it'll slip out nd rev high and drop. ex: im in sixth gear hit the accelerator and the rpm will jump from 2 to 3 thousand and then drop baq to 2 and continue normal opperation but i will feel the jump and loss of power..

try this.... get it up to about 40 and put it in 5th. turn VDC off and put your foot to the floor. if your revs go up without the cars speed increasing at the same rate then your clutch is slipping. How many miles?

According to OP's comments his clutch is gone, anytime you see the rpm fluctuate while in gear when you press the accelerator you have a bad clutch.
