Stillen Catback

Hey guys,
I need input from those who have the stillen catback installed on the 2nd gen. sedans. How is the drone on both street and highway? Did you notice any HP/Torque gains? What is your overall opinion of the exhaust?

Drone is pretty much nonexistent on the highway. However, in the city there is a good amount of drone especially when driving around 30-40mph. I've had my catback for about 1 year now and barely notice it anymore as I turn the stereo up pretty loud whenever I drive and I have gotten used to it.

As I have never dyno'ed my car I can't give you any hard numbers, but I would expect HP/ torque gains to be minimal. I personally did not feel that much of a difference (perhaps maybe @ the higher end of the RPM band).

I do enjoy my Stillen catback. I believe it gives the G a lot more "character" than over the stock exhaust (which IMO is soulless). Plus I've gotten a good amount of comments on the sound of the exhaust as well as the look of the exhaust tips.

From what people have told me it can be pretty loud on the highway. "drone" is all relative. to some people it is noticible and others it is way too much on the highway. do a search for Stillen, Fast Intentions, and Invidia on this forum and you will come up with a wealth of information!
