I am pretty sure it is "dpjones" on myg37.com. He does not post much any more....

EDIT: Not sure who's it is.... dpjones is from MO, and that car is from FL. I know there was a thread about it somewhere, I just can't find it.

I've been absent for months since nothing new came out, and i'm almost fully moded, i only need to install my VB upgrade which been laying here for months too, but i'd like to know when well they release this kit ??
Since it's different than the other kits in terms of fitting and brackets, i wonder if they'll sell those or make them on customs requests.

G35s-Q8, you can pay for the kit now, but you won't get it until they're done testing, who knows how long that will take. I think the 350Z HR kits are ready for shipment. The VHR kits have been shipping for a couple months now.

Sam says the HR kits should be easier to install than the VHR kits. The VHR's are easy to install anyway.

Can't wait to see the install manual for us

I see the price for the kit is around $6,000 which is a very considerable price. I wonder if that includes ECU upgrade and tuning already? If yes, that is a big bang for the buck. $6,000 for 300bhp gain and we will be able to bang those Z06s on the street

C6 sure but Z06 with this Stage 1 kit is out of the question IMO.

The 6K kit includes full fuel system upgrades and tune. The 350Z HR made 403whp with stage 1 kit, 8psi, 91 octane, full stock exhaust system. They're still tuning some more and will test with cat back exhaust.

what I saw is 500WHP with the HR kit. The 09 Z06 is only 500+bhp. Just by the number, it is nothing compare to VQ35HR Supercharged (I still don't like calling it 36 because it is still 3.5L).

If I recall correctly, Sam told me that the HR 350Z was pulling 411 bhp with full stock exhaust before any tuning, so he expects even more out of it than that. He said that the HR is even more responsive to the SC than the VHR, so the gains are even better than with the G37 and 370Z.

If Sam can get the stage 1 car in the 450 WHP range (with full exhaust and tuning), then it should put us close to Z06 territory, but you also have to remember that the Z06 is lighter than the G, so that will make a difference as well. I do know that at the drag strip my '90 GSX with around 450 WHP used to stomp stock Z06's all day long, but that car was AWD and would run 12 second flat 1/4 mile times on street tires.
