GTM posted photos of the internals of the DE, HR and VHR engines. The HR and VHR were MUCH better than the DE (pistons, rods, etc.) and the VHR rods were a hair thicker in compared to the HR.

I love this supercharger kit. Honestly, I don't like supercharger at all except for centrifugal supercharger in this kit. Since our engine only run up to 9psi, supercharger is better than twin turbo. There are a few VQ that hold close to 500whp. I can't wait to see numbers from this kit.

I was talking about stock internal VQ engines not their built 4.2L VQ. I am not updated to the VQ37VHR that just came out but with VQ35VHR, the mark was 500whp.

Phalanx, our motors (07~08 sedans) are actually VQ35HR. VHR normally indicates VQ37s.

500whp sounds pretty reasonable for the stock block for our HR motor. It also depends on a few other things and a GOOD tune, but even if the block can support more than 500whp, I wouldn't push that far as I would like to keep my motor in the safe range. I have heard a couple guys that blew their TT'd VHR coupe running over 500whps (won't disclose names). Can't really blame the kit nor the tuner for the faulty motors either because they DID PUSH the motor over the limit numerous times without sufficient supporting mods. :/

Anyways... I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE MOOOOAR!!

George said he doesn't know if he will make this kit for the HR cars (350Z and our G) yet. Also, price hasn't been discussed at this point.

Thank you for correcting me, BlueSlate (I got a blue slate G35 too ). There is no such VQ35VHR unless somebody swap the connecting rods and the cylinder head :P
Yes, 07-08 G35 sedan bear VQ35HR.
IMO, the supercharger kit should be less expensive than the twin turbo kit. $8000 is still quite high to me.

What!?

It is centrifugal supercharger, the most efficient supercharger. It is NOT a turbo!
