Phalanx, our motors (07~08 sedans) are actually VQ35HR. VHR normally indicates VQ37s.
500whp sounds pretty reasonable for the stock block for our HR motor. It also depends on a few other things and a GOOD tune, but even if the block can support more than 500whp, I wouldn't push that far as I would like to keep my motor in the safe range. I have heard a couple guys that blew their TT'd VHR coupe running over 500whps (won't disclose names). Can't really blame the kit nor the tuner for the faulty motors either because they DID PUSH the motor over the limit numerous times without sufficient supporting mods. :/

Thank you for correcting me, BlueSlate (I got a blue slate G35 too ). There is no such VQ35VHR unless somebody swap the connecting rods and the cylinder head :P

IMO, the supercharger kit should be less expensive than the twin turbo kit. $8000 is still quite high to me.
