R2c Maxxflow CAI
So i decided to pull a trigger on one of these . .
but i got couple questions before i move on
i've read somewhere that they got some fitment problems, something like i need Y tube in passenger side for a complete fitment otherwise they'll not be installed . plz comment . . .
2- how can i maintain them ? are they re-oiled filters ? how regularely should i clean them ? what's the expected life of the filters ? are they available all the time for replacement ?
3- i do live in a VERY BAD atmosphere ( dusty , 48 Celsius degree !! ) so . . . would you still recommend me to get'em ?!

1) No fitment problems anymore (already addressed by R2C, you get EVERYTHING you need for the install with instructions).
2) they are DRY filters and dont have to be washed (can be if required, instructions included), all you need to do is to blow compressed air from inside out and it cleans the filter.
3) The filters are THE best on the market(read data on their site for full details) and will protect your car much better than stock or any other oiled or dry filter on the market, they also outperform every filter when loaded with dust and idrt(chk site for comparison with other branded filters like K&N amsoil etc).
Believe i have done A LOT of research and questioning and browsing before buying these and the customer service is TOP NOTCH!! which is the reason why i praise them without being payed for it

but u didn't tell me whether thier replacement filters are available whenever i need'em .
how about performance by the way . . did u feel any gain ?
The filters are available from various vendors or directly from R2C whenever you need them and yes the gains are notable in mid to high range but as i said before intakes dont do much for performance on these cars but over 5k you can notice a difference IMO.
