New Tuner! Hypertech "Hypermax" for G35-G37!!
As some of you guys may know, i've been working with HYPERTECH on the max energy since last year. We actually provided them with all the cars they had at SEMA 09.
I'm also currently helping them revise the tune for some with aftermarket bolt on parts. I've been talking to the main engineer and hear R&D (JOHN) regarding adjusting the MAF programs to work with the popular intakes such as the STILLEN G3, INJEN COLD AIR and even some of the short rams like TAKEDA.
I've been using my magden to datalog my G37 and emailing them the information so they can see if any changes is necessary as some have dyno'd some intake and exhaust combination and the AFR is reading out too lean. According to hypertech, a little adjustment on the MAF should fix that problem.
I will keep everyone updated as i get more information from them. Got to love them though, they are doing anything and everything to make the customers happy

^ Nice forum support. I have a few questions:
1) Does the V36 G35/37 actually have a WOT throttle restriction which your programmer allows to remove? Are you 100% certain? (The reason i ask is because half of the people here believe it does while other half believe there is no wot restriction to begin with even from a stop, this is the MAIN question everyone has about your product as it is really enticing).
2) More personally, I have intakes(R2C) and catback(FI) exhaust installed, how would the hypertech prog. handle my AF ratios, i have no idea what i am running now but as per my discussion with COBB long time back, i was told that the "tune" has to be mod specific to keep AF ratios in a good range. As Lou mentioned you guys were supposedly working on the tune to make the AFR better for people with bolt on's (intakes and exhausts).
Also is this compatible with the Manual Trannies as well since some tuners work on the AT but not on the MT or have different tunes as per the different ec
Thanks for your time and help! I would grab this from Bat if i like the answers for the above two questions but avoid the bias

WOW ..... way to welcome me in. can't we start with the easy stuff. LOL
Give me a day or so to answer this as complete as possible.
short answer: Yes
Long answer: has lots of detail please give me a day or two to write it up. Since I am answering a very detailed question thats seems to be a common question. I will write up my answer and confirm my answer with our R&D manager before I post.

Gr8 thanks for dropping by and will wait for detailed answer. sounds promising though that you will run your answers through the r&d manager rather than just tell us something without being sure. Thanks!
come on hypertech, i was expecting a response within a week max consideirng you guys have already done the R&D, produced, sold and dynoed this unit before.
C'mon guys i am really interested in getting a moderate tuner and want to make an educated choice.
