Our headers are 'true' headers and you really wouldn't get that much benfit out of it imo, correct me if im wrong. Wanting more power? Chipping it would do the trick however, I see you are in Oman...and dont know much about Oman actually.

The CAI I have heard nothing but great reviews on both, however more people seem to go for the G3, I almost did buy it, went with G2 instead. Because I'm under the impression the cleaning process is to remove the bumper.

well . . i've already got R2c intakes , n i ended up takin them off cuz they make me run lean n lose some power . this is why i'm trying to avoid these short's ..

Now , i jst wanna make sure what is the best for ma ride . . i'm sure that a long tube wud do the work this time, n i'm about to pull the trigger on one of these . . either stille's or injen's , so which one u think does perform better than the other ? i jst don't wanna go wrong again n pay for something makes me feel disappinted !

Both will give you close to equal gains,...

here's an old thread that may help if you haven't already seen it...

https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-eng...ke-system.html

I have a stillen product, and am not dissapointed so I would've said go Stillen however if I were to choose between the two after reading that you dont have to cut with the Injen cai then I would op for that. hope this helps let me know what you decide and post some pics to if you can.

Injen IMO is better, It gives real perfomance gains and it's easy to clean.

Dude, I have the Gen3s. And TBH they're perfect... The only time i got my bumper removed was during the installation. Other than that i never did so. I drove it in rainy conditions and dusty conditions i had it on for almost 6 months with no problems.

EDIT: Now they're off becuase i took my car to the dealer and they had to clean the TB. So they adviced me to remove the intakes, in order to have everything done under warranty.

I have cleaned em my self at home. Very simple open the front engine covers on top of the radiator, reach down to the grill and open it up, Remove filters cleaned em, and i bolted everything back together.

They sound amazing under full throttle, and you won't notice anything under normal driving conditions. Power hmmm i felt a bit of a push in the mid-range RPMS and top end as well.... but i won't confirm that because it's from my BUTT dyno which isn't reliable.

Humm I dunno about which CAI to go for, but I would agree with the others Headers wouldn't give you much power, what I'm thiking of are Cam shafts, that seems to be the only real way forward, but it does mean taking half the engine and body apart which is why I'm still on the fence on this one. I don't trust the people here would do a decent job to give them my car. it's sad but true

aw . . is that all ?! i thought that you have to take ur pumper off to
reach'em !

seriously . . cud u reach'em by opening the radiator's top cover only ?! how difficult is that ?

before i forget . . are they re-oiled filters ? if so . . how do u maintain/re-oil them ? and how often do u do that ?

does the kit include some of those re-oil bottles ?

i'm not in a position to understand why wud'nt they give you much power ?!! as far as i know these things release power more than any sort of pipes, and so they do work just perfect in other cars !

longtube headers imo are the way to go header wise, dyno proven on g35 up to 26hp gains..not much for the trouble of the install(8hrs) but if ur na and dont want to boost it could be a hp gain for u, as far as intakes i recommend injen..easy install good gains and sounds amazing!!

Well I'm not saying this from personal experience, it's just what most people I've asked have told me, or at least everyone I've asked has told me it'll give you near to no added power unless you're going FI. Now I've never tried so I can't say myself but literally everyone I've asked including a few tuners have told me it's a waste of money.

Having said that I think Robbey had headers on at some point but took them out because they had a crack, I think he's thinking of putting them on again so he'd be the right person for reliable feedback

Was that on a 1st or 2nd gen vehicle?

Any link to that dyno sheet?

Dude, seriously all you'll have to do is open up the radiator cover plus the grill and you will reach em. Take em off clean them....

As far as re-oiling them, i didnt... i dipped them in a hot water with soap, kept them there laying for couple of hrs... drove off to the nearest service station... blew dry them with their Air gun... put em back on.... they were still oily when i put em back on.... I made sure that they were dry though before installing them.

I cleaned them after 6 months of usage.

I'm thinking of ordering two new filters instead of re-oiling them.
