i read about these long time back when cobb was attempting intakes for our cars but gave up as they could not get any appreciable gains for the buck. They said that these hoses are better than OEM and AF intake tubes as there is more heat tolerance and least absorption form the engine bay to keep the air cool.

Not sure if they really are worth the money though for AF folks unless they show some other benefits such as gains!

these are so tempting, but i cant justify spending $125 for them. if they were $99 or less, id buy.

I doubt that there'd be much in the way of gains.
Air traveling through, really doesn't have time to heat soak any way.
Whether air flow is any better is hard to say.
I can't see spending that kind of money on them myself.

Hahaha...not all but most. This one I like though, it may be in my head, but i think the response has slightly improved.

looks much nicer than stock. saw this on ebay and was thinking about it. might jump on it if i decided to go back to stock airbox setup.

@Glover. They do have two design advantages.
1) It is a straight tube with no spirals like the OEM tube so the air will flow right through freely without any resistance.
2) The material is made to insulate against heat much better than OEM.

So it MIGHT make some difference though i doubt it but as per Bats observations there is something there.
