3rd party dyno's are for the Stillen which gave the same results. I think there are other dynos for the NST pulley if you search.

hey everyone. when i dynoed my pulley i gained 1whp. it was almost at 2whp. and yes the keyway on the camshaft broke which the lock on the pulley chipped off causing the damage. its hard to explain, but after seeing the engine myself and the pulley there is no doubt that it was the pulley that caused the damage for me.

this was a UR pulley, they have been in business for a long time i would never expect anything less from them, they do high performance modification and so on. BUT right on their front page you get big bold letters. NO WARRANTY.

i have talked to many tuning companies and they all told me the same thing even stillen. the pulley will not generate a hp increase all it does is free up the weight on the crank. in turn throwing off the balancer or whatever its called to make your engine off balance by saving a lot of weight. like i mentioned with my previous post, the car will shake also when stopped at a light or whatever, to me at first it was unnoticeable at first but when someone else was in my car they were like wtf is your shaking like that, and even worse when the accessories on. i talked to UR about that they said its a common thing when replacing to lightweight pulley.

whoever wants to try this, i say go for it and good luck. ive been through this easy cheap mod and some of you have been with me through that, and 1whp $300 pulley ended up costing me $130000 out of pocket, could of been used for a gtm kit.

I agree, crank pully or even light weight flywheel they won't give you more hp, they well free up more hp from your engine because they're easier to rotate and lighter mass = faster rotation than heavier mass, but anyways i do fear installing it and get my engine damaged.
In real racing pully's they balance the pully with the crankshaft so they work together without causing viberation, i know that you may say that the crank balancer are inside the engine, but on the outside the pully must be balanced as well.

suby101 is the one I trust on this one, I won't be getting a crank pully!

Although suby I am sure you can get one hell of a turbo kit for $130,000! extra zero ftw I guess it would have felt like that much to me too coming out of my pocket.
