Stillen Catback Exhaust
For those of you who have it on your sedans, how do you like it? Is the drone really that bad or is it experienced only during city street driving and not so much on the highway?
i love my exhaust with a passion....i wouldve even paid full retail for it now that i have it!!
This "drone" u speak of idk?
heres my interpretation of the sound of the car.... when driving at low speeds its a beautifully toned growl. at higher revs its a ferocious roar!
i dont normally hear the exhaust in the car tho unless the music is off and the windows are down and im trying to hear it...

i have had the stillen exhaust since i bought my car back in '07, and i absolutely have nothing but the best things to say about it. nice subtle growl when you start it up, not bad at all with typical driving, but boy does she sound good at WOT and when you lay into her. people are always giving me complements on it. note: i have the original version stillen intakes too - really completes the sound, can't say they do much for hp, but that was never my intention with them. i am holding out for the stillen supercharger (hopefully they will release a version for the vq35hr) for the proper hp mods. good luck with your choice, but i give stillen top marks (obviously)...
edit: i won't say on my car that you can't hear it all the time, because i can. but it sounds *great* all the time! :-)
