acceleration issues / alot of smoke out of exhaust

Okay, I have two issues.

1) When I am cruising around 70 and want to go faster (so I hit the gas hard), there is a lag (about at least 2 seconds) before the power kicks in. It's kind of like a turbo lag. It's a very annoying lag. Does anybody else have this issue and is it something the dealer can resolve?

2) A week ago, I started my car and a lot of smoke came out the exhaust (A LOT) and gave out this burning smell. But it hasn't happened since and has only happened once. Any input?

Thanks in advance.

the smoke was white. seemed like the smoke smoke that comes out when you start the car, but just an insane amount.

Also I heard that an ecu reflash from the dealer may fix the lag problem? Has anybody have this done? Does it even exist?

did you have an oil change recently? it could of been overfilled.
or worse, a leaking headgasket. check the compression in the cylinders.

the lag is the acceleration wave they program into the ecu from the factory.....get a reflash to eliminate it. technosquare did wonders on my car.
