it says it makes 500bhp not 500whp, and for the price this is a great power upgrade at 8psi and GTM is a dependable company with good rep, terry can drop in on this one since he got his car TT by them.

As for dyno being for the vq37, the power change will not be much different.

[QUOTE=kool_yaar;5019452]it says it makes 500bhp not 500whp, [QUOTE]

i stand corrected, thanks for setting me straight.

Either way thats enough power to be really fun. i would just want to see dyno numbers on the vq35hr specifically.

Also, im assuiming the engine managment would have to be altered a little bit but i might be wrong. does anyone know?

Yes the engine management will have to altered per the power increase which I believe would be included with the kit to allow you or a tuner to get your within specs or your taste, else you can get a predefined map perhaps from GTM

Right, the site says
"ENGINE MANAGEMENT: With using the GTM flash we are to able to maintain the OEM drive ability so the car will run like stock, only with a lot more power”

oem drivability is what i want, i dont plan to get it re-tuned maybe just a baseline dyno so their flash sounds like it would be sufficient for me.

However, assuming they have produced a flash for the vq35 since they are selling a flash for this kit they most likely then know what the actual numbers are that the vq 35 should yield. I would love to see that dyno.

I'd like to see someone take the plunge on something like this and then go through the details of the installation process.
I'm curious what the down time would be for a DIY'er on a weekend.

^ + 1

I drool over this kit every time I see or hear about it , I'd be interested in how long it takes to install and what problems arise before taking the plunge.

If you guys face problems with installation in the states, then I'd be pretty much raped and out of my mind to let the guys here even touch my car lol

Oh shoot... this is awesome! So the turnkey kit includes the engine management? The description seems to hint at a package that doesn't (as well as a CARB-pending Stage Zero kit).

there's a DIY on MyG37 on a GTM Stage 2 TT kit for the coupe. Check it out.

Power is similar to the VHR, I believe Terry made 460whp on his sedan on something like 8 or 9psi?
