Fuel Tank Gauge

For those of you who fill your tank to "full" generally the needle on the gauge inside the car goes above and beyond the "F" mark. However with mine what Ive noticed is that no matter how full I fill my tank, the needle stays below the "F" mark on the fuel tank gauge. What might be the cause?

I had this problem a while back. I took it to the dealer and had them replace my fuel level sensors.
Just take it in and tell them what's wrong and that you think the sensors need to be replaced and they'll do it under warranty.

Thanks Borna. And I assume this solved the problem for you and now ur gauge inside the car reflects accurate fuel levels?

I had same symptom, but it was more like the tank would not allowed to be completely filled since it only took 15-16 gallons to fill up from "E". The dealer replaced the fill pipe baffle i think. I believe there is a TSB for this. Either way it did cure the problem, I can now fill up all the way to "F" and fuel level is accurate.

My passenger side fuel level sensor was replaced for the same reason. Now it reads more than full at flll up.
