Vibration sound...

Just bought a 2008 G35s sedan 6mt.

one thing I noticed, if I disengage the clutch and just idle, there is a noticeable rattling/vibration sound.

Once I push in the clutch pedal, the vibration/rattling sound goes away.

Is this a flywheel issue ?
Tranny mounts ?
Motor mounts ?

thoughts ?

I was thinking yesterday that I should ask about the rattle at idle, and I drive the 5AT. Nice to hear it's normal and not something I have to worry about before the warranty expires.

Trying to remember if it was my Z or my S14 that had a similar thing too.

Maybe it's worth looking in to then, but it doesn't persist once I get going. Going back to my hazy memory of my other car, it could be something to do with the VVT? Or am I completely insane?

^it could be it since i havent spent any time in the AT. i would get it checked out regardless while you're still covered under warranty so that if something happens down the road, they will at least have a record of your complaint which can only make your case stringer if any serious warranty work is required.

Good point - I've never owned a car which was under warranty but I've been pretty unimpressed with my local (50 miles away) Infinity dealer who keeps ignoring my emails. Doesn't inspire confidence.
