Meaning remove the front resonators and just place a straight thru X-pipe there? Not even bother with the magnaflow muffler x-pipe design (11385), just weld in an x-pipe...?

Would this give a little more sound/power for minimal $$?

Sorry for bringing this back from the death.

I was dead set on the Fast intentions cat back exhaust. Shipped it would cost $1,410.00 shipped.

I can ge the stillen cat back exhaust for a little over a G.

Can anyone give me any feedback on the sound and finish of the stillen system please?

Thanks in advance.

Been listening to allot of vids including that one.

Any other feedback?

Tanabe has also got my attention, but don't seem to cater to the G35X.

You can get the Invidia fairly cheap. Most people talk very highly about it, so I'm likely going that route and just have a shop modify the one pipe for clearance.

Going to give the Tanabe axle back exhaust a try. Loved the way it sounds. Hopefully I have no fitment issues since it is unclear if they fit the x model.

It will fit fine. The mufflers (actually the whole OEM exhaust) is identical between the RWD and AWD models.

Hey Have you gotten it installed on you car yet? And is it just axel back or full cat back?

For everyone who has the 'X' like i do, the reason why some exhaust don't fit is because we have the transfercase to make it all wheel drive underneath i think its the passenger side pipe comes down from the cats. I originally looked at the Invidia and talked with a couple guys from Invidia they said its the pipe that comes from the cat that they need to find a G35x whos willing to give up their car and have them bend the pipe for the right messurements. However, I ended up going with the Stillen and I have happy since. Im at college and I have kids come up to me all the time asking what engine i have or whos my exhaust by, they haven't heard anything like it. It doesn't drone to bad on the highways either ( I am actually on my 500 mile journey to get back to college) and I don't have to take asprin or anything I actually tend not to even hear it at points unless i stop on it. My friend has Borla Stingers on a G8 and that drone gets kinda annoying after a while but the Stillen by far isn't bad, plus it has a nice purr, louder than the coupe but not fart can loud

*nd by the way sorry i didn't put this up here, the Stillen Cat - Back fit stock G35x's no bending welding or anything, I installed it my self, the longest thing that took me was getting the rusted bolts nd nuts off, everything else fit perfectly.
