Unhappy Hypertech problem

I have a question for anyone who has installed the Hypertech Max Energy programmer. When I plug the unit into the access port on my 2007G, it comes back with "Unable to read ecu".

After talking with the Hypertech guys (who have been helpful), they stated my problem was with my access port under the dash. They stated I have a pin connector that is in the wrong spot causing the problem with the programmer communicating with my car. (They sent me a picture of which pin to move) I tried to move the pin, but I am unable to slide the pin out and move it to the spot they told me to.

All that being said, the question is has anyone else run into this problem, and were you able to fix it and install the program.

TIA

I did, but it would not budge. It feels like something else besides that tab is holding it. Do I need to push the wire forward first and then pull back?
