Exclamation Injen IS short ram

Hi all, I'm new to this forum and a new owner of an 07 G35S sedan 5AT.
I installed an Injen IS short ram last week and noticed a few bad things.
1. my engine seems to run a bit hotter then before, and that can even be felt in the cabin sometimes. a heat wave that comes out of no where. also when i do have the aircon on, i can notice a difference in that the vents on the side seems to put out colder air then the center.
2. my fuel economic have gone down quite a bit. i use to be able to get 500+ right after the fuel up according to my trip computer. now it just show 420-450.
Does anyone know why this is?
thanks in advance for the help.

Recheck the install and make sure everything is secure and tight and also check and make sure that the tubes to the crankcase blowoff are also installed properly, intakes should not be causing your car to run hotter or make the ac blow less cool air or drop your mpg. Could just be that you are unintentionally driving the car harder than before too hear the intakes

I installed R2C intakes and same thing happened. OEM intakes were reinstalled and everything was fine. Installed Gen3's and same thing happened with the mileage.

I believe everybody knows, that aftermarket intake will change the AFR (air/fuel ratio), so you will lost torque in the low-mid RPM, car would feel a little sluggish in the everyday driving and you will get the worse mileage... Though you will get some hp at the 5000+ RPM, but i'm not sure you are driving these RPM's all the time...

p.s. it can be cured by the tune (uprev, cobb's, etc...)
