Weapon R intake questions

I've done a little research and have decided that for sound/power gains (although minimal), and price, the weapon r secret weapon intake is the way to go. I have found out the following: I read some threads on here and apparently foam filters have terrible filtration. The weapon r filter however has a lot more pores per sq. in. than most foam filters, for better filtering, but this reduces the breathability that foams are famous for. It makes up for this in the dual velocity piping. According to this information, it seems like a good buy to me for $280. Please let me know if this information is correct or any other opinions you may have, thanks everyone!

My friend has this intake on his TL and loves the sound of it and the filter does look ok, but i for one would never go for foam filters due to all the research i did on em a long time back, they might have improved them from then so its really your call.
