The dealer wants $185 for the install. I'd love to do it myself it it's this easy.

What did you remove to have plenty of room to move about?
I just did it...it's pretty easy. It is a pain in the *** to get the belt on because it's still somewhat tight, but my car was jacked up on one side with no splash guard so I just went underneath and pulled the belt on to the crank pulley and used a snubby screw driver to help it on. I used this method on the crank pulley because it wasn't spinning. When I would try on the other ones...it kept spinning. I'm sure it can be done all from the top. It does take some time though to get the belt finally on.

This is the tool that I used...

squealing is almost always due to the belt(s) being loose. if oil/water gets up there it may squeal on startup, but it will go away quickly. prolonged squealing, to me, would indicate loose belts or perhaps a bad pulley bearing.

@ Aeson, no i havent changed my belt yet but had a good look at the other day and it seems in good shape and should be able to last for another few months easy, but as G35_916 described it is pretty easy and i also tried accessing/checking it from the bottom and it seems really really easy. I might do a DIY when i get around to it in a couple of months, dont want to spend an extra penny unless i have to at this time

update to my belt squeaking issue...

So I changed the belt and placed the under carriage cover on the car ( that was missing before) and the car still squeaks, but not as bad as before and also when the car warms up for awhile...say 20 min or so, it goes away. I may have a bad tensioner issue? It's embarrassing as hell too...haha

belt needs some time to settle.

if it squeaks for more than two weeks then it's not the belt - some pulley needs to be replaced

it's been about a month. You think greasing the pulleys will help? I've sprayed armor all on the belt and the squealing goes away immediately, not sure if I inadvertently got the pulley wet which made the squealing stop.
