wait, did you put these on with the magnaflow xpipe? i thought you just used the magnaflow not both.

 

No I used both, I had to very careful with tone and any droan. The car my wife drive's most of the time, (95%) So what is tolerable for ny is different for her.. I tried it that day with out them, But it was a little harse in cabin so I intalled the resonators before I left,. Did not change the outside sound but in cabin is almost stock like.

 

Mufflers and Magnflow X-pipe are on the way. Hopefully getting the system installed on Saturday as long as Fed Ex permits it. I am going to try without the resonators and see how it sounds. CANT WAIT!!

I really hate USPS tracking system...I keep hoping it will be here today but got no help from their stupid site!

 

Now this seems pointless. two ebay mufflers, two other mufflers and a maganaflow along with some piping and you could have likely just bought something better.

You can get a Magnaflow X along with two nice Magnaflow ovals w/ tips for about $350 all in, I'd lean that route.

 

I personally am opting out on the resonators to start. I think the Magnaflow X with do enough noise dampening and rasp control. I am only into this system for $290 plus a couple hundred to connect it all together...

For the price I'm into this I could not even bought a used system, Yet alone something brand new.All in all saved a couple hundred bucks

I shipped the X via FedEx, just checked it, it seems it was stuck just outside of Dallas because of the snow, the delay is pushing delivery to Monday instead of you getting it today. Sorry

 

Its all good, The guy who is building my exhaust isn't in this weekend unfortunately so it looks like I will be dropping the G off one day this week.
