click sound when car accelerate

click sound when car accelerate
My G35S has 82K miles.
There is a sound when I accelerate like a "click".
In the mornings when I put the car on reverse, same sound.
Some mechanic told me that after a lot of miles the shaft joints can make that sound.
Any ideas?
