Exclamation Service Enging Light "P0084"

Can anyone help me figure this one out? My car also has the stupid service engine light on.
Just recently came on after i got the front end fixed from the body shop. Anyways the code reads "P0084"

- Open or Short Circuit condition
- Poor Electrical Connetion
- Faulty exaust valve timing control magnet

Anyone know what this could be, Although i dont think its anything major
And could this make the RPM jump a little while slowing down or coming to a stop?

they must have pinched the wiring harness somewhere. sounds too coincidental to be a random issue. what did they fix? can you kinda snoop around where they did the work and see if they cut or pinched something?

Yeah thats what i figured. The whole front end was crashed and they had to put a new radiator and headlights and rerun the ac and heater and a whole lot of stuff on the front end so im not sure where exactly it could be or where to look.

well see if you can peek around the wiring harnesses for anything you think they touched. start at the headlights and try tracing your way back along the fender wall. now you say they re-ran the AC and heater, did they replace parts or just run new wiring? or just bring it back and tell them you suspect a pinched wire if you're really unsure. most of the time they can just pop the hood and they'll probably know just where to look if it's happened before.
