After reading the description and see that they use a pair of K&N filter, it leaves me wondering, what so special about it? Why not get the K&N intake for our cars? Is the Stillen tube design that much advanced in technology?

This is not a flame, these are legit questions for me as I'm about to drop some coin on my ride. Just ordered some rims MRR GT-1 and am ready to pull plug on intake/exhaust combo. I've already settled for the Stillen Exhaust but still undecided on the intake. Your input will be appreciated.

Disregard. No stillen for me. I'm true with the cutting of holes. Did it on my 02 Maxima for the Place Racing CAI, totally ridiculous.

 

It's honestly the best intake.. Look at my previous thread about which is the best intake..

If you're looking for the best performance than purchase the Stillen V3.. If you're looking just for the sound, then purchase the RC2 Intakes..

Performance wise, if you don't want to cut anything.. I'd recommend buying the Injen CAI

 

Stillen and Injen CAI's produce about the same about of gains. The Stillen has a major advantage as that you don't have to worry about hydrolock with it. You really don't have to worry about it too much though. The install is more difficult on the Stillen as well and requires cutting.
