Hesitation/Bog/Sputter @ 3k RPM

I did a mountain run with a few of my friends the other day and noticed some bog/sputter/hesitation at around 2k-3k RPM.
Happens in almost every gear, when you heavy accelerate at low RPM. Once you pass 3k RPM there is no sputter/bog/sputter. It feels good till around 2.5k RPM and then it hiccups/sputters/bogs/hesitates for a split-second and once it passes 3k RPM it picks up again.
Yes, I do have RTP's installed as well as a full exhaust and I've done my research. It seems like there are others with similar issues who have aftermarket cats/pipes. Some say a tune fixes it and others have gotten the tune and still have the issue!?
I have Stillen V3 CAI's in my basement and I'm thinking about installing them and maybe it won't hesitate/sputter/bog anymore. Honestly, it's not bad if you are daily driving but on the mountain it was more obvious. Car felt great by the way!![Driving](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
Anyone have a concrete reason why this happens? I'm assuming it's going from lean to rich real quick and the ECU hiccups? Will the intake even it out? I'm not planning on getting a tune till next year...
Thanks!

Yeah, figured it out after a lot of research and updates.
Infiniti came out with a new ECU update. I don't know the TSB # off the top of my head but you should be able to find it. I went to Infiniti when I was still under warranty and requested they perform the TSB ECU update and it fixed my hesitation. Supposedly, the hesitation is there stock but it's more pronounced when you free up the exhaust.
