I did my first drain tonight...only got 2 qts 18 ozs

Is there a better way to do it? As in when it's cold...warmer ect? My driveway is somewhat on an incline so i am sure that didn't help


And wow was it dirty..It's hard to see it on the dip stick unlike when you put it in a cup...light brown to pink/red

 

Infinitihelp.com has a YouTube video. Here's how I did it. First you need about 12 to 16 qts of Nissan type s trans fluid/oil. drain the pan and refill with the exact amount. Unhook the ATF cooler hose from the metal line next to the engine. Start car and pump STF out until it sputters. Measure how much you have drained and refill with same amount. Do it once more if you have enough fresh oil. hook up ATF hose. voila done.
