Carbon Fiber Driveshaft

Thanks to Powertrain Industries for making this possible. This is the best bang for your buck. I did try to get a group buy on this but i guess not enough people were interested. I have no idea how much power was freed up but i will have numbers at the end of the month. The OEM driveshaft was about 31 maybe 32lb w/ the nuts and bolts when you add that in. The CF driveshaft weighs in at 13.3lb. The G picks up and feels more alive. It does rev a bit faster then the OEM and notice the difference right away. Hope you enjoy this pix.

is it ok to remove the joint in the middle? I come from 350z land so we already have 1 piece CF so we dont deal with the joint issue.

just curious.

When you say your going to do something to your G you really do even though you take like 4 plus months to get it on your car. LOL!!! Good job really. I hope you post up your dyno numbers here.

That is nice! I called them on Monday! I also called GTM aluminum version is 600 bucks. Does it have "Spicer" ends? This would make my driveline complete

Spider end? I know they took out the rubber coupling and replaced it w/ a aluminum one.

Who is interested in Numbers? Any thoughts? will it be noticeable on the dyno or a waist of money? 7 more days for the final result. Should i post up the dyno sheet once it's done? Lets hear your thoughts

Dyno numbers won't be significant, will depend on conditions of the test .

Power at RPM is what is compared by a DYNO and that is not changing...! Rotational masses effect the car in different ways.
