Bring your computer over to the vehicle so we can have a better job diagnosing the problem over the internet.

I would just take it right back to the shop that replaced the radiator and have them verify everything is plugged in and put back together properly. Also make sure system is purged of air.

G35X, 2008 Rad-Trany

Hi All,

I am new to this. Own a 2008 G35X, 119,000 KM, and last week visiting the dealer for a noise check, was told the following:

-Transmission leaking into the rad, cause by a leak in the rad?
-Complete rad needs to be changed, 6 hrs, $2341.69 total
-Once the rad is replaced, we cannot guaranty the noise (when shifting) will go away
-Recommend change the Transmission $5747.00

Called Infinity Canada, gave me the run around and then told me I am on my own

Please help

I would love to take it back to the same shop...but unfortunately I got the work done in NJ where I was previously stationed..then drove it cross country to WA State. I know the AC condenser is attached to it and it worked fine before the radiator change. I did try to recharge it and when I connected the hose I had 0 pressure...charged it to the correct temperature range and still nothing. Do you know where the fuses/relays are??

Does anyone know what a used used Transmission approximately for the 2008 G35X?
What about a complete Radiator?
I am getting mixed pricing from the mechanic?
Thanks

The radiator with labor was a little over $1000..sucks that it's not a usual radiator as the AC condenser comes with it jacking the price way up

Ok...thanks
But on the Transmission, I am getting different prices, $1200-1900, and confusion in does the 2009 G37X also work for a 2008 G35. To my knowledge, the G37X has 7 gears vs 5 on the G35X?

On 350z there is a pressure switch on the ac condenser. If left unplugged you will only get hot air.
